Durum Wheat Semolina, Re-milled and Coarse

Durum wheat semolina gives the finished product its characteristic amber colour, as well as its distinctive flavour. Its high protein content and uniform particle size means that durum wheat semolina expresses all the taste and aroma characteristics of bread and pasta. Durum wheat semolina also has high baking firmness and an almost total absence of black specks.
Our range includes four types of semolina, a complete and specific selection for different requirements.

All Molino Pordenone durum wheat semolina is made by grinding and subsequently sifting strictly GMO-free durum wheat, with no additives or added gluten. Health also depends on the most natural nutrition possible, which contributes towards a healthy daily diet: this is why we want our products to be clean-labelled and chemical-free.

206 ORO Rimacinata durum wheat semolina

Durum wheat semolina re-milled for bread making, also suitable for long rises and maturing in the fridge. Ensures excellent yield thanks to its high water absorption. The finished products have a high volume due to the considerable extensibility of the gluten and a soft yellow crumb.

206 Rimacinata durum wheat semolina

Re-milled durum wheat semolina ideal for making all types of semolina bread. Also suitable for long rises and maturing in the fridge. The dough has good extensibility and ensures excellent yield thanks to its high water absorption. The finished products have a good volume and a thick, crunchy crust.

186S1 Semola Grossa durum wheat semolina

Durum wheat semolina with a large, balanced particle size. Semola Grossa 186S1 is suitable for making fresh, homemade bread and pastries with a firm consistency after baking and a stable yellow pigment.
